Scholarships and Training
The Honor Frost Foundation offers a variety of funding opportunities to help build capacity in the region. Our scholarship programme helps scholars from the region obtain formal academic qualifications. Our bursary programme provides funding for training courses, to attend conferences, and supports fieldwork. The Foundation can also offer support for internship and placement students.
As part of our commitment to supporting and developing maritime archaeology in the eastern Mediterranean, we are looking to better understand who is currently working in maritime archaeology in the region, their current training and their future goals. We are also keen to identify non-maritime archaeologists who may be interested in transferring skills to projects funded by the Foundation.
